南校区 Learning Center: A Convenient Site for Placement Tests and Proctored Exams

Macomb offers a variety of testing services to the community, including proctored exams for students attending other colleges and universities.  All of the following tests and exams are administered only at the 南校区 Learning Center, located inside the 图书馆 – J Building.

Mission Statement

的 mission of the Macomb 社区 大学 南校区 Testing Center is to adhere to the NCTA Professional Standards and Guidelines in alliance with MCC’s testing integrity and consistency policy. We support the Macomb 社区 大学’s educational mission by providing national and international undergraduate, graduate and doctoral exams, professional certification, distance education examinations and assessments to individuals in an accessible environment. All exams are administered in a professional, impartial manner under conditions which are proficient and secure.

的 坐 is a standardized test intended to assess students’ readiness for college and is required for freshman to enter many, 但并非全部, colleges and universities in the United States. Macomb administers the 坐 exam on select national test dates. For more information, contact 坐.

大学-Level Examination Program (CLEP)

的 大学-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) helps you receive college 信贷 for what you already know, for a fraction of the cost of a college course. Developed by the 大学 Board, CLEP is the most widely accepted 信贷-by-examination program. Earn qualifying scores on any of the 33 introductory-level college subject examinations and accelerate your education. Each 90-minute exam is $85.

Proctored Examinations

的 南校区 Learning Center provides test proctoring services for non-Macomb students, charging a $25 fee for each examination (subject to change). Proctored exams can be in paper/pencil or computer-generated. Electronic equipment (cell phones, laptops, tablets, etc.) are not allowed in the testing room. A locker will be provided to store personal items. All testing regulations from the outside institution also apply.

Arrangements for proctored examinations must be made in advance and scheduled during the Learning Center’s regular hours of operation. Please allow enough time when you schedule for the proctored exam to be returned by your institution’s due date.

Photo identification with signature (e.g. driver’s license, 护照, military ID) is required for all tests administered by the 学习中心.
